Published on Monday, 27 December 2010

Bathroom cleaning is neither an enjoyable chore nor an activity that many homeowners look forward to. However, you can avoid it forever, so you have to make plans to do it as efficient and quick as you can. Here's a step by step procedure you can follow. 1.     Gather cleaning supplies In a bucket, gather all your cleaning supplies which should include rags, surface cleaner, paper towel, sponges and cleaning solutions. You certainly don't want to waste time searching for each item halfway through. So, organize everything you need in the bucket and keep it close the entire time. 2.     Start with the shower The shower can consume a lot of time as it is the center of soap scum and mildew. You can spray the wall with cleaning solution and let it sit for awhile before scrubbing. Also, clean the draperies and the shower door rack. Be sure to rinse it with water so you can get rid of the remaining dirt and chemicals. 3.     Wipe mirrors and other bathroom accessories Use rags to wipe door frames, baseboards, shelves and the sink. Same thing applies for mirrors. Don't forget to include the sink's pedestal and countertop. 4.     Scrub the toilet Now, you are ready to face the toughest job - cleaning the toilet. The toilet has several parts and you must clean each area to get rid of stubborn stains and mildews. There are many toilet cleaners available in the market. You can use toilet brush to clean the rim, lid and the pedestal. After rinsing, wipe it clean with toilet paper. Finish off by mopping the floor and emptying the garbage. Now, you can pat yourself at the back. The bathroom is smells fresh and is sparkly again!
