How to Make Cleaning a Lighter Job for You and Your Family
Published on Wednesday, 12 May 2010
Maintaining a clean home is very important. But this does not mean that you have to spend all your free time cleaning the house. After all, you also need to rest and chill out even just at home. The trick is to maintain a schedule. If you have all the cleaning planned you will be able to maintain a clean and healthy home for your family. If you get the help of the other people in the family you would even be able to finish cleaning faster. Instead of doing heavy cleaning every week you can instead list down all the heavy stuff for a bi-weekly cleaning. For instance, you could schedule bathroom cleaning and furniture vacuuming in longer intervals. And again assign a task for everyone to do. With appropriate job assignment, you would be able to accomplish everything faster and better. However, this will only work if you also maintain your house everyday. For instance, washing dishes should never be forgotten. Surfaces should also be dusted and cleaned always as you use it. While you don't have to vacuum daily, you could at least sweep a bit when you get a chance. You should also flush the toilet when you use it. It would help if you brush the bowl a bit every time you use it. Soaps suds should also be washed off and the walls should stay dry when not in use. By cleaning up everything after use, there would be little to clean in other days. You will be able to afford a longer interval general cleaning schedule but still have an orderly and clean house for the family.
